INTRODUCTION
As I walked around the neighborhood during the pandemic I noticed flyers for the many cats who had run away from home. The flyers were a reflection of the anxiety and sadness their human companions were experiencing "She may be injured, hiding under shrubbery or in a garage". Instead I imagined that the cats were traveling somewhere exotic and feeling happy. After all, they know how to find their way home. If they are not back perhaps it's because they don't want to come back. Featuring also one lost dog (he is really lost).
16 postcards bound into a spiral book with acrylic laser cut cover. A random sequencing of the postcards resulted in each book having a different cover image.
Postcards have handwritten messages from vintage postcards. One says "Delightful climate, feeling fine", another "I can't see my way clear to come home before Friday night. So look out for me about 7 o'clock", and yet another, "Dear Daddy, we don't forget you night and morn, we pray for you".
